Smith Implements was formed in October 1981 by Robert T. “Bob” and Mary Louise Smith and their oldest son Ted. From early on, all the Smith Brothers – Ted, Kirby, David and Chris – worked hard to build the business that exists today. Sister Terry and several other family members have joined Smith Implements over time and continue the tradition of exceptional service.
A history of hard work and unmatched service has been critical to the growth of Smith Implements. What began as a 13-person operation in Greenfield has grown to over 120 people in six key locations to service our customer base. Bob Smith’s philosophy of “Take Care of Customers” was instilled early into our culture and it remains a core Smith Implements value today!
